B. Arch. program is available at IIT Kharagpur and IIT Roorkee only. Candidates desirous of joining the B. Arch. (Architecture) program  have to PASS in the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT).

• AAT will be conducted only at the seven zonal coordinating IITs. • The test will consist of one paper of three hours duration. • The question paper for AAT will be available only in English language. • No separate admit card will be issued for AAT. The original admit card of JEE (Advanced)  should be produced in the AAT examination hall. • Candidates should bring their own drawing and colouring aids. • The Joint Implementation Committee of JEE (Advanced)  will decide the cut-off marks for passing AAT. • Results of AAT will be declared on the JEE (Advanced)  online portal. • Candidates securing marks above the cut-off will be declared PASS in the test. There is no separate ranking in the AAT. There is no separate cut-off for students of any category. • Allotment of seat will be solely based on the category-wise All India Rank in the JEE (Advanced) .

Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test

AP EAMCET or Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada on behalf of APSCHE. This examination is the prerequisite for admission into various professional courses offered in University/Private Colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has entrusted the task of conducting the exam AP EAMCET to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada or JNTUK for the smooth conduct of this very important examination after the reorganization of the state of Andhra Pradesh.

The Examination is conducted for admissions in the various Engineering, Agriculture, Pharmacy and Medical courses offered by various colleges in Andhra Pradesh and serves the major criteria for the fulfilment of the candidate seats in the colleges.

The Entrance test is of 3 hour duration and the question paper consists of total 160 questions comprising of 80 questions in Mathematics, 40 questions in Physics and 40 questions in Chemistry. All questions are of objective type (multiple choices) only and each question carries one mark.

The question paper contains questions in “English” and “Telugu” medium. Candidates, who have studied the qualifying examination in Urdu medium and wish to avail assistance for translating the questions into Urdu, will be allotted a Test Centre at Kurnool only.

AP EAMCET 2017 or Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) 2017 will be conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada on behalf of APSCHE. AP EAMCET 2017 Application Form:

The AP EAMCET 2017 Application Form or Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test Application Form 2017 will be available online on www.apeamcet.org.

The Application Form will be available online tentatively from the 1st week of March, 2017. The Application Form will be available only online and in no other mode.

 

The following information must be kept ready for filling the details during AP EAMCET Application Form 2017 Online submission:

  1. Hall ticket Number of Qualifying Examination
  2. Hall ticket Number of S.S.C. or equivalent
  3. Date of Birth
  4. Caste in case of SC/ST/BC candidates
  5. PH, NCC, Sports etc.
  6. Income Up to One Lakh or Up to Two Lakhs or More than Two Lakhs (Rupees)
  7. Study or Residence or relevant certificate for proof of local status (last 12 years)
  8. Choice of Help Line Center is for Certificate Verification and options at the time of admission. Note: The above certificates are to be submitted during the counselling for admission.

APPGECET

Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (APPGECET) is conducted at six regional centers across the state. The A.P. State Council of Higher Education, Hyderabad will be issuing a separate  notification for admission as per the admission policy for PG professional courses. Preference will be given to GATE qualified candidates in admissions to various PG professional programmes in the Institutions / Colleges of the State of Andhra Pradesh. After exhausting GATE qualified candidates, the remaining vacant seats will be filled with those candidates who have secured ranks in the APPGECET-2017 as per Merit Order.

 

APPGECET 2017 APPLICATION FORM

The application forms for the APPGECET 2017 will be available online from 1st week of March, 2017.Candidates are required to apply for APPGECET-2017 test through Online only (printed hardcopy of the applications will not be accepted). The application/ registration fee for the test is Rs. 600/- (Rs 300/- in case of SC/ST). In case a candidate wants to appear for more than one test, separate registration fee has to be paid for each test.

 

APPGECET 2017 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  1. The A.P. State Council of Higher Education, Hyderabad will be issuing a separate notification for admission as per the admission policy for PG professional courses.
  2. Preference will be given to GATE qualified candidates in admissions to various PG professional programmes in the Institutions / Colleges of the State of Andhra Pradesh. After exhausting GATE qualified candidates, the remaining vacant seats will be filled with those candidates who have secured ranks in the APPGECET-2017 as per Merit Order.
  3. As per the latest AICTE approval process Hand Book eligibility criterion for admission to Engineering courses is 50% marks in qualifying examination (45% for reserved category). However candidates shall fulfill the eligibility criteria laid down in the relevant GOs at the time of admissions.
  4. As per the Pharmacy council of India, the eligibility criterion for admission into M. Pharmacy Courses is 55% for OC& BC category and 50% for SC & ST.
  5. All PG programmes of Part-Time / SSS / Sponsored courses shall not come under the purview of this test (APPGECET-2017).

APPGECET 2017 EXAM PATTERN

  • The examination will be held in pen and paper mode.
  • Only blue or black ball point pens are allowed in the examination.If a candidate uses another pen then his/her examination will be discarded.
  • The time limit in which candidates will have to solve all the questions is 2 hours.
  • It will be held in 2 shifts namely in forenoon and afternoon.
  • Timing of PGECET examination is as follows ( As per Exam Pattern of AP PGECET 2016):
    Timing of forenoon: 10:00 am to 12:00 noon
    Timing of afternoon: 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm
  • The question paper will consist of 120 questions.
  • Each correct question will carry 1 mark. It means that the question paper will consist of 120 marks in total.
  • As per AP PGECET 2016 exam pattern, no negative marking scheme will be followed for marking incorrect answers.
  • All the questions will be of multiple choice type; this means that each question will carry four/five answer option.
  • According to Andhra Pradesh PGECET exam pattern, question paper will consist of:
    Paper 1
    Paper 2
    Paper 3
  • Language of the examination will be English only.
  • The Cutoff of the test will be 25%. This is per preceding year’s analysis. It is also subjected to change.
  • The question paper will be divided into three courses namely:
    Specialized courses
    Conventional courses
    Interdisciplinary courses

APPGECET 2017 ADMIT CARD.

The APPGECET 2017 Admit Card or APPGECET 2017 Hall Ticket will be available for download online from the 3rd week of May, 2017. The Hall Ticket or Admit Card can be downloaded from:  www.appgecet.org .

APPGECET 2017 RESULT

AP PGECET results 2017 are released in the official website at www.appgecet.org. The result will be declared in 1st week of June, 2017.

BCECE or Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination is a state level entrance exam conducted by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board also known as BCECEB. The BCECE is conducted for admission to various UG courses in the field of Engineering, Medical, Agriculture and technology. The BCECE is a very competitive exam given by thousands of students for admission to the professional degree courses in government and private colleges of the Bihar state.

Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE) is a state level examination organized by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB). The entrance examination of BCECE is conducted in two stages, namely stage 1 and stage 2 for admission to the first year UG courses in engineering and agriculture field is provided.

Stage 1

There will be four sections in the exam i.e. from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. All the questions will be of MCQ type having 4 options. The total no. of question will be 200, i.e. 50 from each section. The duration of the examination is 2 hours 15 min. The question paper will be of total 600 marks. For each incorrect answer 1 mark will be deducted.

All candidates have to attempt physics and chemistry as compulsory sections, and Math and biology as optional as per their chosen field for engineering or medical.

Stage 2

The stage 2 will also contain four sections from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology, having 100 question in each subject and each subject carries 400 marks with +4 mark for correct answer and -1 for wrong answer.

BITSAT is a Computer based online test for Admission to Integrated First Degree Programmes of BITS Pilani Campuses in Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad.

The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani is an all India Institution declared as Deemed to be University under Section 3 of the UGC Act. Admissions to all the Integrated First Degree programmes of BITS, Pilani, at Pilani campus, Goa campus, and Hyderabad Campus are made on the basis of this Computer based Online Test conducted by BITS, Pilani.

BITSAT is of total 3-hour duration (without break). The test consists of four parts:

 

Part I: Physics

Part II: Chemistry

Part III: (a) English Proficiency and (b) Logical Reasoning

Part IV : Mathematics or Biology (For B.Pharm candidates)

 

All questions are of objective type (multiple choice questions); each question with choice of four answers, only one being correct choice. Each correct answer fetches 3 marks, while each incorrect answer has a penalty of 1 mark (-1mark). No marks are awarded for questions not attempted. While the candidate can skip a question, the computer will not allow the candidate to choose more than one option as correct answer. There are 150 questions in all.

CG PET 2017 APPLICATION FORM

The candidates can fill their application through the online mode by visiting the official website of the CG PET. The last date for filling the online application form will be 1st week of April, 2017. After filling all the details in the application form, candidates can move towards the fees payment, candidates can pay their fees either through online mode by using their debit/credit card or they can also pay their fees by net banking option. Fees can also be paid offline via challan that must be submitted in the branches of SBI or ICICI. Fee is 200/- for general candidates, 150/- for OBCs and 100/- for SC/ST candidates.

CG PET 2017 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The candidates appearing for the CG PET exam 2017 must check the eligibility criteria before appearing for the exam. The details of the eligibility criteria are mentioned below:

The candidate appearing in the exam must be 17 yrs of age on or before 31 December 2017, the upper age limit is not more than 25 yrs on or before 1st July 2017.

The candidates should have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent from a recognized board or university. Those candidates who are appearing for the 10+2 examination in 2016 are also eligible to apply.

COMEDK UGET or “Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka” Under Graduate Entrance Test is conducted to determine the merit of students in an effective, fair, transparent and non-exploitative testing procedure and has been floated by the Associations of Medical, Dental and Engineering private colleges for merit determination of students seeking admissions to the Member Institution.

Presently 14 Medical, 23 Dental and more than 150 Engineering colleges, who make available almost 20,000 seats, are affiliated to COMEDK and utilize its testing mechanism for effecting admission to UG Program. KPCF and KUPECA have entrusted COMEDK with the responsibility of conducting the entrance examination and seat selection process. COMEDK conducts Under Graduate Entrance Test 2016 or (COMEDK UGET) for admission to undergraduate medical, dental and engineering courses.

 

The Entrance Test COMEDK UGET is mandatory for all candidates seeking admissions to MBBS/BDS/B.E courses in Member Institutions of COMEDK. A merit/rank is generated based on the candidate's scores in entrance test only.

 

COMEDK UGET APPLICATION FORM 2017:

The COMEDK UGET Application Form 2017 will be available online tentatively from the 1st week of February, 2017. The Application Form will be available only online and in no other mode.

The COMEDK UGET Application Form 2017 can be filled online on www.comedk.org  . The Students must follow the instructions to fill the application form. Also they must read the eligibility criteria and ensure that they meet the same before filling the form.

  1. Candidates are advised to go through the instructions carefully beforeü filling up the online application form.
  2. Kindly use Internet Explorer (version 7 to 11)/Mozilla Firefox (versionü 14 to 34)/ Google Chrome (version 20 to 36)

GATE or Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all India examination that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of the candidates in various undergraduate subjects in Engineering/Technology/Architecture and post-graduate level subjects in Science. The GATE score is used for admissions to post-graduate programs (e.g., M. E., M. Tech, direct Ph.D.) in centrally funded Indian institutes of higher education (i.e., institutes which are provided with financial assistance by MHRD and other Government agencies).

The score is also used by some Public and Private Sector Undertakings for employment processes. Direct recruitment to Group A level posts i.e., Senior Field Office (SFO Tele), Senior Research Officer (SRO) (Crypto) and SRO(S&T) in Cabinet Secretariat is now being done on the basis of GATE scores.

The GATE Exam consists of a single paper having 65 questions carrying a total of 100 marks. The Duration of the exam is 3 hours. The GATE is an online Computer Based Exam and is not conducted in any other mode.

The GATE Paper comprises of two types of questions - Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and Numerical Answer Type Questions (NAT). Multiple Choice Questions will have a correct answer from four options given while Numerical Questions have to be calculated and answered with the help of a keypad. The GATE 2017 Question Paper will be designed to test students on their comprehension and application skills, recall as well as analytical abilities.

It may be noted that General Aptitude Questions are compulsory for all papers and will carry questions for 15 marks.

Negative Marking: There is Negative marking in GATE for the Multiple Choice Questions only. There will be a deduction of 1/3 marks for every wrong answer to a 1-mark multiple-choice question and 2/3 marks for every wrong answer to the 2 mark questions. There is no negative marking for numerical questions.

Goa Common Entrance Test also known as GCET 2016 is the state level common entrance test conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Goa. The test is conducted for admission in to various under graduate professional degree courses like Engineering, Medical, and Architecture. Every year large number of students who are interested in the above mentioned courses appears for the GCET exam, the exam is conducted every year in the month of May for admission into the private and government medical and engineering colleges located in Goa state.

The exam consist of four papers from Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology, there will be 75 questions from each section, carrying one mark each.

HPCET or Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Tests are conducted for admissions into the various undergraduate and post graduate courses namely B Tech, B Pharma, M Tech, M Pharma, MCA and MBA.

It is a state level entrance examination and is conducted every year for admissions into the above mentioned courses in the state of Himachal Pradesh.

The HPCET Exam Pattern is as follows:

MODE OF ENTRANCE TESTS:

  1. The Entrance Test for each course shall be conducted in single offline (Pen and Paper Based Test) mode.

IPU CET

Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University conducts Common Entrance Test for various courses known as IPU CET. Every year IPU CET exam is organized to grant students admission in various UG, PG, courses in the fields of Engineering, Architecture, Management, Medical, Humanities etc. IPU entrance exam is a university level examination, which is held every year. It is recognized by the Delhi government. This is the main assessment conducted in conditions of admitting eligible candidates in numerous fields such as Technology & Engineering, Law, Nursing, Pharmacy and Education.

IPU CET

IPU CET Exam Pattern for B Tech is as follows:

The duration of IPU CET examination is 3 hours with 300 multiple choice questions of 900 marks. The medium of answering the paper will be English only. The questions are asked from the syllabus of 11 and 12 standard based on physics, chemistry and mathematics (PCM). One mark is deducted for a single wrong answer and will get 3 marks for every right answer. The candidate should bring the black ballpoint pen to fill the OMR sheet in the examination hall. So, write each and every answer carefully if you don’t know the answer doesn’t waste the time in that question go to the next question.

IPUCET APPLICATION FORM 2017

All the candidates shall submit application forms only through online mode for all Common Entrance Tests 2017. The application form is available at the University website http://www.ipu.ac.in. The application form along with the Common Entrance Test Fee of Rs.1000/- excluding processing charges and taxes, as applicable, shall be available from last week of January, 2017.

The Students need to complete the following steps to submit the IPUCET 2017 Application Form online:

  • Online Registration
  • Filling the Application Form: By filling the Personal Details, Qualification and uploading desired documents.
  • Completing Payment: By Completing the Payment either Online for the Application Form.

 

  1. The application forms shall be available in the online mode only from the University Website: http://www.ipu.ac.in
  2. The last date of application may be extended for any programme or programme group for which a common entrance test is to be conducted by the University.
  3. It is the responsibility of the candidates to ascertain whether he/she possess the requisite eligibility and qualifications for admission. Appearing for the written examination does not necessarily mean acceptance of eligibility.
  4. The applicants are advised that since the form filling as well as admit cards shall be made available through the online mode only, they must keep the details of their login id and the password secure and safe.
  5. Applicants should be careful in choosing the CETs that they apply for, as no change would be permissible after the application has been submitted.
  6. From the merit of a specific CET Code, admissions are in general made to a specific set of programmes of studies. This document illustrates the list of programmes to which admissions were made in the academic session 2015-16. The University may add or remove programmes of studies from any or all CET Codes.
  7. After the application for any CET is submitted, if there is any mistake in date of birth, spelling mistake in name of applicants or the parents name or in the choice of category claimed for the purpose of availing reservation, the applicant must submit an application in physical form (together with applicable processing fees of Rs. 500/-) to:
