The AP EAMCET Exam Pattern 2017 is as follows:

  • AP EAMCET Exam Pattern 2017 for Engineering is as follows:

  1. The Examination is of 3 hours or 180 minutes duration.

  2. There are a total of 160 Questions in which 80 Questions are from Mathematics and 40 each are from Physics and Chemistry respectively.

  3. Each Question carries 1 mark each.

  • AP EAMCET Exam Pattern 2017 for Medical is as follows:

  1. The Examination is of 3 hours or 180 minutes duration.

  2. There are a total of 160 Questions in which 80 Questions are from Biology and 40 each are from Physics and Chemistry respectively.

  3. Each Question carries 1 mark each.

The AP EAMCET 2017 is conducted for admissions into Engineering, Medical, Pharma, Agriculture and Architecture under graduate Courses offered by the various colleges affiliated under JNTU in Andhra Pradesh. The Examination is the only Under Graduate Entrance Test in Andhra Pradesh and serves as the most important examination for professional courses.

The AP EAMCET 2017 is a three hour duration objective test having 160 Multiple Choice Objective Questions. The medium of the examination is English. The Candidates have to attempt the Paper Offline or Paper Pencil based.

The Examination will be conducted tentatively in the 2nd week of May, 2017. The Examination for Engineering will be conducted in the morning session while the Entrance Examination for Agriculture and Medicine will be conducted in the evening session respectively.

For the preparation of merit list, in case of more than one student securing the same combined score obtained as mentioned above, the tie shall be resolved to decide the relative ranking by successively considering the following:

  1. The total marks secured in AP EAMCET-2017

  2. The Marks secured in mathematics in AP EAMCET-2017

  3. The marks secured in Physics in AP EAMCET-2017

  4. The Percentage of Aggregate marks secured in the qualifying examination

  5. If the tie still persists, the older (based on date of birth) being given preference over the younger.
