BCECE Eligibility Qualification Requirement:

  • For engineering and technology (four year) programmes, candidates must have passed the 12thor equivalent class with Physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects and any one elective subject from chemistry, bio-technology, biology or technical vocational subject.

  • Candidates must have secured 45% marks (for general category) and 40% marks (for reserved category) in the 12thor equivalent exam.

  • For pharmacy (four year) course, students must have cleared intermediate or equivalent exam with physics and chemistry as compulsory subjects and one elective subject from mathematics, biology or technical vocational subject.

  • Students should have scored minimum 45% marks (for general candidate) and 40% marks (for reserved candidate) in intermediate or equivalent exam.

  • Candidates who are appearing in the 12thor equivalent exam are also eligible to apply but they must have passed the appearing exam at the time of counselling.

Domicile Eligibility

  • Candidate must be an Indian citizen.

  • Candidate should belong to Bihar state.

  • Candidate’s parents must be a permanent residence of Bihar state.

  • If student’s parents belong from different state, but they are government employee of Bihar state.

Other Eligibility

  • Student should have completed 17 years age as on 31stDecember of the year of admission for agriculture and medical courses.

  • There is no minimum age limit required for engineering courses.

  • For admissions, candidates have to go through the medical test. Candidate will be eligible for admission after clearing this test.

 

BCECE or Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination is a state level entrance exam conducted by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board also known as BCECEB. The BCECE is conducted for admission to various UG courses in the field of Engineering, Medical, Agriculture and technology. The BCECE is a very competitive exam given by thousands of students for admission to the professional degree courses in government and private colleges of the Bihar state.

Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE) is a state level examination organized by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB). The entrance examination of BCECE is conducted in two stages, namely stage 1 and stage 2 for admission to the first year UG courses in engineering and agriculture field is provided.
